About Us . . . . The WSMBC was formed in 1990 by a group of local people who had a common interest in the game of bowls. To help provide the original finance of the club a number of founder members took out life membership of £100 each. A set of rules was drawn up for running the club.
. . . . The CLUB PURPOSE is to provide the amenities and equipment to enable local people to participate in the game of SHORT MAT BOWLS on a recreational and social basis. The club is a member of county and national associations.
